You might be asking, what's a "Unsung Hall of Fame"? Well, I figured it was time to make a blog specifically detailing those players that were pretty good at any one field in the major sports that either haven't got their due from a Hall of Fame (MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, for example) or are possibly forgotten by people in the here and now.
As such, over the coming weeks, we will introduce a First Class of folks that were really good in their time and just haven't gotten their due when it mattered, whether because of bad voters or circumstances beyond the control of others.
The Pretty Good Hall basically is a collection of folks you already might know in the regular HOFs but will try to focus on those who might not be remembered (hey, know who George Davis is?) to go along with the ones who were screwed over (for example, MLB just barely recognized the Negro Leagues as being major league). Roughly once every few months, we will showcase a brief summary of what type of player/person merits consideration and then we will have a post about the ones that are in at the end of the month. For example, the immediate candidate that would likely be in without consideration would be Vic Harris, but I assume you would want to know who he is first beforehand anyway.
Folks can suggest candidates, but the vote for right now is mine alone, so let's have a fair and balanced hall.
